Novaoui: I quit to work (quit or leave???) p.4, l.5 -> Le verbe " to quit" signifie démissionner (entre autres), "to leave" est plus une action physique de partir. Donc tout dépend de ce que novaoui voulait dire.

Briandhuet: To begin with, I'm looking for something really easy to read p.5, l.3 -> J'aurais tendance à dire "as a beginning" ou "as a begin". Mais je suis incapable de dire quelle est la bonne forme grammaticale. To begin with est plus une traduction du français mais je pense que ça s'emploie aussi.

Micha: we searched a name for a long time you know p.5, l.2 Tout dépend du sens de la phrase... To look for est plus pour le quotidien (je cherche un stylo). To search est quelque chose d'organisé, plus méticuleux (je cherche des informations sur le net). Il y a aussi To seek, qui est plus élaboré, chic, plus souvent utilisé pour les choses non matérielles (je cherche un travail). Mais c'est assez interchangeable donc on peut utiliser search, look for ou seek tout aussi bien


Peggy: I hope you will get pregnant as soon as possible, I'm sure Edwin will be a great brother! Same for Chouc... It's so hard to be patient when we want a baby...

I'm back from a little trip in the north of France. We went to visit some friends over there. We had a great time but I came back very tired. And now, not much time to rest: my husband's family is coming Thursday!
Also, I gained (?) too many (much?) kilos last month. I need to slow down on food for the next 2 weeks or my Obstetrician will scold me (gronder?)

Drielle, my son read books called "suzy" (suzy, the chipie for example).
He loved "The little prince" of Saint Exupery even if I think he didn't understand everything. He understood that children are more funny and interesting than adults.
"The little Nicola's recres" is a good book for a 7 year old child
